Ew!! What are these bugs on my ducks wings..??

When i spread their wings out.. theres these little tan skinny bugs on their wings.. they stick like lice and they are hard to get off..!! How do i get rid of them...???? They seem to only be on the outside of their wings.. not on the inside...

Sounds like lice- nits can be dissolved with coconut oil I have read.

Sounds like lice, do they have water to bath in? you can use sevin dust on them fill up a sock and use it like a powder puff being sure to get down to skin. or you can use Epernix pour on which is used like Frontline for dogs. I use the Epernix pour on because there is no egg withdrawl, if you don't care to toss some eggs you can use Ivermectin instead. you'll need to treat their sleeping quaters also. also there are products that have premerins[sp] in it that are safe. sorry i didn't know about the sevin dust.

That sevin dust really works but this is what they are saying in the more current publications. (Of course lots of people use lots of medications off-label for their pet chickens.) I use sevin dust or permethrin dust on my chickens. I'm just trying to let people know if I send them a link, if something is out of date, if I know about it.
