Ex-broody not laying

I have two hens; one (GL orp) sat on eggs for the full 21 days but killed her chicks, so she is now back in the main run.
The other one (GP brahma) decided to go broody, but i broke her by putting her in broody jail

Neither hen has started laying again. The orp may still be broody because she occasionally sits inside the house; but she refuses to go in the nest boxes
The brahma seems to be completely broken; she shows no willingness to hatch eggs and sit in the nest box like she used to do, but she also doesn't lay any more
They have both apparently given up being broody for a week or so now; Is there usually a period after being broody where they don't lay eggs before they start again?
Any reasons why they are not laying?

I have found that once completely broken (i.e. they are back out all day with the flock) it takes around 2 weeks before they start to lay again.

Yes; they are always out with the flock, so i'll be patient for a few more days.

I've had many go through a complete molt before laying again.
