Glad you've joined us here. Your story sounds a lot like mine. I had animals growing up, but nothing once leaving home. About two years ago hubby and I got our property and started adding animals! Fun isn't it?
 
We are having a blast! Our youngest (almost 5yrs old) is an early riser, and he was up with me checking on our chicks around 5:30a this morning... helping me fill their feeder, and clean/refill their water dish. We are all on board with building our little farm, and the chickens are the most fun so far!
