Excited to finally have chicks again!

Hello everyone!
I live in Urban San Diego. Moved back into my childhood home after my Mom's recent passing. We raised RIR's here when I was young and to make things a bit brighter, I bought some chicks and a new chick barn. Rough start, with several not making the postal travel. Found a great feed store that has helped me rebuild my new flock. I have 7, 1 more than planned and 2 more than the city prefers. 6 different breeds. RIR, Orphington, Australorp, Sussex. and I believe 3 EE's. My little curious one is getting crazy beautiful ploomage! Her name is Ellie. (I think she's an EE)

I'm very excited to relearn from all of you the right ways to do things. So... I am sure, I will be posting a lot of questions and reading through all of your comments.
