Excited to Have Duck Eggs!

Our ladies laid their first eggs yesterday morning—given that these are our first ducks, we're very excited! And so many folks here on BYC have been helpful in responding to the threads I've posted over the past few months that I wanted to share some good news. The eggs were formed nicely and the ladies are in normal, excellent health. We're not sure which one laid two eggs yesterday but anyway, we discovered three, and this morning there were two.

I was so sad when we finally ran out of them when our girls stopped laying back in October. But, one of them has started up again! Yay!

Thank you! It's funny, of course we were looking forward to having eggs, but we must've been bitten by some kind of duck love bug because we're beside ourselves excited and are talking about getting more ducks in a few months.
