Hi everyone! I excited to officially join the BYC community!
I hope to learn from others' experiences and maybe share advice based on my own as well!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My wife and I first got chickens 3 years ago. We have had the same flock since then but have more coming this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 8 chickens and will soon have 15 more.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We prefer bantam chickens (little bannies) and currently have a mix of d'Uccle, buff brahmas, wyandotte, and a silkie.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They're funny little creatures and just fun to watch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We spend a lot of time outside, whether it's in the garden, going on hikes, or walking the dogs.
