So, for those of u who might be wondering which breed I ended up picking. I ended up choosing a rooster Salmon Faverolle. A couple of deciding factors here:
1) Minimum order was 1
2) Temperament was just was I was looking for
I'm so elated guys, can't wait to finally have my baby home with me. I appreciate all the help and great advice u guys gave me. Thanks.

I selected a SF for the same reasons.
This guy has flogged me more times than I can count. Just sayin'.
Being a turd can happen to any boy.
I did rehab him and I love him but he was not the docile creature I was lead to believe he would become. He IS an outstanding rooster.

What do u mean by flogged? All I can tell by looking at him is that he's an assertive and confident male who isn't easily intimidated. Haha. Just how I like 'em. 😁 He's so handsome too. 🤩

Jumping up in the air and striking their intended victim with the spurs and wings is flogging.
He's done that from behind with sneak attacks as well. It took about a year to rehab him to the point we are at now. He doesn't show any further aggression towards me and lets me pet him a bit without loosing his noodle.

DobieLover is right. I have a roo that does that to me daily, not a SF. It's a drag to enter that pen. He's the only one of his breed -that I have- to do that and it's not typical.

I luv it! That's exactly the type of personality I'm looking for. My last rooster was exactly like that, not with me though but with others who would visit. This only happened with a couple of individuals who turned out to be not so good people in the end. At the time though I had no idea why he kept trying to attack them.
