Excited!!!

I went out to talk to my chickens tonight and to make sure they were ok with it being their second night without the warming light. They were all happily chirping with all 8 of them roosting

Hey Gracie chick

That is great news; that first roost is like a mini milestone for them and us.

My mumma hen spent a couple of weeks trying to get her bubs to roost and when they did not join her and she had dropped back down to the nest and hushed their panicked peeping, you could see her thinking "maybe tomorrow night".

I am not sure who was happier when they eventually joined her, mumma hen or me
