Hi everybody! My name is Amy & I live in central PA. I joined BYC to learn everything I can about chickens! I'm obsessed! I'm hatching eggs in the incubator and found this website when I was googling a question about wiggling eggs & I'm so glad that I did! I've been around chickens since I was born, but this is my first time where I am totally responsible for the hatch. What a scary and daunting task! I've watched my mom and other family members and thought...no prob, this will be easy. Yeah right, Amy! Think again! Lol. I'm loving it though! I am just in awe of the whole darn thing! Right now I'm hatching Swedish Flower Hens, Bredas, and the speckled sussex. I welcome all thoughts, concerns, and suggestions! And thanks for having me!

It can be a little overwhelming. I'd like to have Bredas. I almost bought some hatching eggs a couple months ago.
