he went to see his surgeon today. and they set a date to maybe take his trach out. December 6th. they will go in with the camera and if his airway is still only 40 % or less blocked they will put in a smaller trach and if he does good over the next 3 or 4 days they will keep putting in a smaller trach until they can remove it all together. he will be in the hospital 3-4 days... he is able to talk alot now... he says some sentences now... like who's that and thank you. its so amazing to here him speak finally. and monday was his second birthday. Life has been amazing this year. thank you to everyone who has prayed for him... he beat so many odds. god must have big plans for him. and his mommy is going back to college in the spring to be a respitory therapist...

I have been staying witrh him since last weds. his ,mommy had to emergancy galbladder surgery. it was so infected and full of galstones it was about to rupture. and guess what all theese years of her being diagnosed with acid reflux and lots of trips to the er and it looks like it was her gal bladder and nobody ever thought to check it

Hard to believe Ayden is almost two, already! Seems like we just welcomed him into the world! Glad to hear he has made such great progress, and praying for a speedy recovery for your daughter.

Thats great news Chixie. A little bit of advice, when your daughter gets back have her look into gall bladder diets. Everyone I know has had tummy issues afterwards and amazingly the gall bladder diet helps with these. Even having the gall bladder out there are still underlying issues that can cause discomfort. Doctors never mention this stuff but thought I would toss it out there. Actually the gall bladder diet is pretty healthy too , I guess added benefit.
