I'm new to byc and looking for breeders of migratory and exotic waterfowl in or close to Louisiana. Would like to do some buy/sell/ trade.... I have a good many ducklings of several breeds and a few color mutations. I.e. Wood ducks, apricot wood ducks, white and reg mandarins, silver and reg fulvous, ringed teal, cinn teal, spotbills, pintails and others. Thanks for any replies

:welcome

I have a local Mandarin Duck Breeder near me. But I'm located in Indiana. He does ship! But only when they are around 6 months in August-Oct. I bought several pairs from him and they are just stunning! He is old fashion. His website is:

Also here is another breeder with all the breeds you listed! I like to buy my males from the first link and my females from this link. White Feather Farms is the cheapest I've found. They also ship!

Thank you for your reply Nyla! I have been raising wild fowl for a few years now and domestic breeds before. Shipping and receiving shipped birds makes me nervous. I quess I really need to get accustomed to the shipping idea. Seems there's a lack of local breeders and ppl looking to get into hobby.

I will most definitely check out softbills, I really appreciate the info. I really enjoy meeting people that share the hobby. I have a couple breeders I've met locally "old timers" that has shared tons of info. I'm always eager to learn more and to ad new birds.
