The kiddy pool looks a bit big for a dust bath. I use a tubby that is about 24x12x6 for the dust bath.
I use clear covering fixed to 1x2 frames for the winter and leave the top foot or so of the run open for ventilation. Blocks the wind down where the hens are so it's all I need. So far this year I've not had to put it up...
