Expandinf flock

I am considering expanding my flock. I have 2 diffenent farms that I'd like to get day old chicks from. Do I need to keep the 2 farms separate or can they be put in the same brooder?

I have a total of 11 chicks from 3 different places. I was told that as long as they are all close in age, within a week, they would all be fine together in one brooder. So far, no problems. 3 were from a first time hatcher, 2 from an experienced breeder and 6 from a excessive order from Mt. Healthy. No health issues yet either. (..knock on wood..)
