Expanding Run: Divide or not divide

My current run is 18x4x6. I am wanting to expand it to 36x8x6. Add another section off the back and double it on the side. Since I already have a broadcloth wall on the back side I want to expand on, either I remove all the broadcloth and make an open run OR leave it and make a pass through door. The pass though door could be closed off to make secure, separate runs if needed. Pic below.
Thought and opinions please?

I have a split run with a door, so I'll say do a door. It should be less work than taking out a wall and also gives you options to separate the runs if needed (i.e. for easier cleaning, lock the chickens in one side).
