Expanding the flock...

I recently added 2 new pullets (hatched 5/14) to my 2 older hens. I currently have 4 more (hatched 6/18) that I will be adding to my flock in the next 2 - 3 weeks. When is the best time to introduce my younglings? How old should they be? My run is plenty large (128sq/ft) to house a few distractions.

I have tried to attach pictures but for whatever reason I'm told the file was not an image.

Now is a great time to start gradually introducing the youngest to the older chickens. Creating an area in the coop or run where they can see each other but not touch each other for a few weeks should make the integration much easier and less stressful for you and the birds.
