Yeah, I've got hatchery chicks coming. Like I didn't really need to incubate, but I wanted to know what it was like. I'm loving this hobby & all its challenges. I don't think I'll be incubating for awhile, but I would like to give it a go maybe in fall? Who knows.

I hope things work out for you Jman, no matter what!

Here's my first 4 @ 5 days old.
Great job, Sally! You must be exhausted! I know I was with these little guys! Out of the whole lot, I think I ended up with 3 boys and 3 girls. Can't wait to see how they feather out!
Oh yeah, The Easter Hatchalong! Argh, you're killin' me, you know that? Lol! Listen, if you have any advice on cleaning a styrofoam incubator, I could be persuaded to join....My LG is a mess! Was going to wait until my new unit came April 22. Did my chicken math earlier today, and I actually think I don't have enough birds! Now if I can only convince my hubby....

Just out of curiosity, what are you trying to have enough birds for? Also, to everyone else, what do you do with the birds you have?? Are they all for laying eggs or resell?
