expecting chicks the week of april 12th

ok, i went to the website for the postal service and there were 6 results.....is ours the 2 day express mail HFP? if that's the case, then it says i should get mine by 4pm but it didn't give me a day!

could it be tues, wed, thurs? don't you wish we could TRACK our babies?

me too! i feel certain they'll be here! if they're not.....i'll be super worried. i've got everything ready and waiting for them! their waterer has a squirt of Polyvisol and some sugar too. i can't wait!

Well, I feel a little left out

I have an order from healthy chicks and more coming in this week, and my order page says they won't ship until 4/14

2 SLW 2 BO 2 SS 2 BG 2 DB and one mystery...

don't feel left out! you're right there with us! the 14th is only tomorrow.....that's when most of us will be getting our chicks i bet. hang in there!

my babies are here! i took pics! i'll post them later on tonight. i noticed there's kinda 2 threads for april 12th chicks. anyway....i got everything i ordered and a mystery chick. i ordered 5 EE and 4 have the chipmunk pattern and one is a yellow chick with the tufts (that's how i know its an EE....but it's legs arn't green?!) then i have a yellow mystery chick.....i wonder what it is? it's just your typical yellow chick, no tufts or feathered feet.....and my silver cuckoo maran is a tiny one! i just introduced my 2 week old silkies and all seems to be fine...the silkies are a bit nervous, but i don't think i'll let everyone sleep together tonight....i want to keep my eye on them. also, the new babies can sometimes be vicious when it comes to pecking toes!!! and i have a red brooder light too. anyway, pics will come tonight.

I'm posting a duplicate so it get's to all of you in both threads!!

THEY CAME!!!! THEY CAME!!!!!!!! I got a call at work at 12:50! Had given up hope! I'll bet everyone gets there's by tomorrow if I got my in CA in the two day guarentee zone. Good luck you guys that didn't get them today. I'll be looking for your posts tomorrow AM!!!!

All were alive, one little wobble perked right up. Only problem one with crooked toe. Would have been posting pictures, sooner but I have been home alone trying to splint the toe

Black Jersey Giant (ironically the smallest)

Brooder Dog Dasher: He LOVES babies! He was so gentle with baby kitties, let them nurse against him, loves the bunny, hopefulle will love the chickens! He is guarding them in the bathroom as I type.

I'm so happy and exhausted! Will be reading up on splinting toes...
