experienced chicken people advice - first hatch gone very bad

I bought a candler, and i just candled them. YAH chickens. 2 of the eggs are americanaus and I couldn't see them at all. but of the 11 i was able to see I saw at least 4 or 5 eggs with little wiggling masses in them. Hopefully I get them to April 14 with no further issues and they come out healthy. God answers prayers. and thanks for the support from fellow chicken people.

congrats, hoping they turn out happy and healthy for you! I have two blue ameracauna eggs peeping tonight, i'm getting mighty eggcited since this is my first hatch since last fall :D

I went through 3 or 4 homemade incubators and had such bad luck, then bought my little autoturn digital one Brinsea Advance, and I literally never turn it off and have a huge flock now from overusing it. It makes me feel secure when everything is automatic.

Don't forget that the eggs have a mass that will stabilize the temperature. It would take quite a while for the inner temp to increase so chances are if the high temps are not on for too long they will be fine.
And it has been stated more than once...nature isn't perfect. We have a little leeway for error.
Let us know how it all turns out
