Experiences with the Chick Bator?

I recently bought the Chick bator w/ 4 quail eggs. It's the one that kinda looks like a yellow spaceship. I know it isn't really good but was wondering if anyone has it or had any good or bad experiences with it? Thanks!

I would like to know also.. I was wanting to use it for a school project for one of my kids. I am afraid that all the negitive posts I've read about them has made me want to put it back in the box and hide it in the closet.
