Explain Black Copper Maran gender detecting....LOL

I have one black copper maran.. that hatched.. March 2nd.. how to tell sex

another words.. it came out with a little crown.. LOL/ do the girls have them too.. or just boys.. another words.. I have nothing to compare one to another of BCM/ to see if the comb is larger or smaller then others.. since theirs no others..

Tell me, do the girls have combs too?? just not as large

Could people please share with me some photos of 3-4 week old Black copper marans... please.. please.. please.. and tell me what their gender ended up being..

I dont want to give it away next week... because I think its a boy and its really a girl.. LOL

What should I be looking for???

I am in no way an expert. I just hatched 8 BCM and posted on here for gender. I was told both of these are boys. I don't have a picture of my 1 and only girl. They are 3 weeks today. Hope this helps...I'm also worried about giving away a girl.

wow, they say their already boys?? what makes them boys?? mine is 3 weeks old today.. to me.. looks just like yours does.. boo hoo..

I was hoping someone would say..at three weeks.. their wattles would be pink if they are boys..etc

mine is getting little watlles now.. but they are still neon yellow.. LOL/ to me/ maybe cause its up against such blackness.. but the comb and wattles.. look soooooooooooooooooo yellow to me.. no flesh color at all.. just neon yellow on mine..hehehehe

My BCM pullet had a little comb like that too - if you look closely, it's a lot less prominent than those on the pictured roos. But I too thought I had a boy - and of course it's my only hatched BCM chick - but my Velvet is definitely a lovely girl. I'd be happy to post pictures if you wish to see her. Good luck!
