EXPLAIN this to me please!!

Lots of people get by with their duck hens on Layena just fine. Niacin is good to add to ducklings feed if they are being feed chick starter. Brewer's yeast can be added to chicken feed for ducks at any point in time because it has several important nutrients that are helpful to ducks of any age.

Would it be better to continue to raise them on flock raiser even after they get older? What do you do or would recommend?

I think niacin supplements are needed really when they're ducklings, up to ten weeks or so. I was reading that was because a lot of people start their ducklings on chick starter, and that is missing the niacin ducklings need.

I use a Lake Country Duck,Goose,Chick Str/Grower It says it has Niacin Supplements but makes me wonder
if there is enough... and can I still add some Brewers yeast if I want.... How much of each to u add????

Honestly,,, I think I read and read and read to much , then it can get confusing.. lol the simpler the better
is usually good enough.??????

If you were not using a commercial feed but putting together a home mix from plain grains, etc. for your ducks you would add 5% brewers yeast, according to Holderread. I'm not sure exactly how much you would want to decrease that amount if you are adding it to commercial feed, but I think adding up to 2 or 3% wouldn't be a problem because brewers yeast is a safe food source of nutrients and there would be no danger of overdosing.
