Express BQ lost in mail!

As a nube to the board in general, novice to raising poultry specifically, but with a few decades in the S&R business I can offer this advice.
No parcel, truck, rail, air, carrier is going to kick down your door to give you a refund. You have to ask!
I assume this was a PO to PO live poultry shipment, and not a PO to addressee shipment.
If that's the case, then you should get a total refund of your overnight/3 working day shipping charges.

I recommend that you at least ask.

Post office gave me a 100% refund on my shipping charges without any problem. I'll be refunding the buyer as well. I did lodge a complain with Express as not only did it take 5 days to get to her destination but on 3 occations I was told I would be called back and I never got any call at all back, infact when I called the second time they said the first person never started any tracing on it. Not only that on Saturday I called 4 times to trace it and the "computer tracking system was down" all day. Right on my receipt it was marked "gaurenteed noon next day delivery" and the postal person wrote in the date which was the next day. My local post office did it all by the book- I'll give them credit for that. I'm just glad she arrived ok. Also the Express tracking people said they deliver 7 days a week- even on holidays.
