My dad and my Father in Law are both very Southern. No offense, but I hate how they add a "d" to certain words.

Example: That's where I "growed" up.

I ate "twiced" that amount yesterday....

We just moved up here and I have heard a lot of you "northeasterners" admit to your uptight and irritated way of being not to mention the rudeness(relatively speaking from a girl raised in the south

) and the constant rush to be nowhere. What I don't get is if you ALL recognize the problem how come none of you change it?

I never knew how much I'd miss "Southern Hospitality" til I moved north of the Mason-Dixon line! I am beginning to believe the "northern attitude" is because it's so darn COLD up here! You're not mean people, you're just cold. It's June already - What the Heck?????

I am a born and raised New Englander and I have lived in the South (FL) out west (CA) almost every NE state and I guess it all comes down to LOCATION, location, location.

And YES it is cold up here, BUT......

There ARE nice people UP HERE!!!!
