ROFL!!

I was trying to figure out how to type it in my first one. It would have fit in perfectly with the "done fell out."

"Took a seizure" works well with it, too.

And taking "feenabuttaballs" for the seizures.

And, "gots the sugar," for Diabetes.

Before I became a stay at home mom I worked for AEP an electric company They service from MI to TX. We would get people who would call in and say... I kid you not..

"My juice is off and I know what the problem is. Do you want me go get my ladder and broom and flip the switch back on? Or are you guys going to call Jeb down her to fix it?"

First off I don't know why your having problems with your juice maybe it expired. Oh wait did you mean electricity?

Second: I do NOT want you to get your ladder and broom to flip the "switch" back on. You will most likely die.

Thrid: I am in ohio not in Louisiana so I don't know if they will be calling Jeb down to your property to fix it.

I love when people call into a call center and expect them to be located just down the way from their home. I had at one point a guy offer me $200 if I came down to fix his electricity. I couldn't because I'm in ohio and he was in Arkansas and then he couldn't understand how he got ohio when he pays his bill to an address in arkansas.

Geesh

ok...I will share my hate of a word. GOT. I hate that word. There is always another way to explain and not use this horrid word.

Example: I went to the store and GOT some milk.

You could say: I went to the store and BOUGHT/PURCHASED some milk.

Example: Hey you GOT them chickens yet?

You could say: Hey, have you picked up your chickens yet?

Yes I understand its harder to think of a better way of saying something without using the word GOT but come on you can do it.

I won't lie. I'm guilty of using this word. It just bugs me. So I GOT to tell you about it.

hahahaha.

My old super says "Optober" (this while reading the name of the month on the calendar). "Stroll" when "scrolling" down on a computer page. "Dwoor" as in "I keep my pencils in this dwoor"....

being in the equipment rental business since 83 i think i've heard it all.
customers that wanted a :
tilter - tiller
scratcherizer - verticutter or thatcher
waller pump - water pump
power trial - power trowell
buster - log splitter
digger - trencher
scributor wrench - distributor wrench
torch wrench - torque wrench
power saw - chainsaw only. the kind with a round blade is a circuslar saw.
my all time favorite was a customer wanting to rent a floor sander. trying to determine what paper he needed i asked what was on the floor.
"it ain't not never had nothin on it before" i retrieved my old computer flow chart template and quickly determined the floor to be free of any and all finishes, stains or treatments of any kind.

i've noticed that up north folks have inSURance and down south they have INsurance. might could be a regional thang...
