So last night two of my little duck eggs externally pipped! Unfortunately both on the wrong end but they are making lots of noise and are making progress on the size of the hole. The others seem to be internally pipped but not showing any signs that they are externally pipped yet. I think its been at least 24 hours since they have been internally pipped. I hear lots of peeps and can sometimes see movement. Should I make air holes for the others and if so when should that be? I don't want to risk the other two drying out.

Also one of the eggs has a paper like membrane that is white mainly but has brown in some spots. Should I be concerned?

Thanks again for all you help. I appreciate everyone on this site and all of the teachings.

I ended up with 5 beautiful ducklings. Unfortunately 3 did not make it. Thank you for your help.

Absolutely! The hatching process is definitely nerve racking but so beautiful and an amazing experience. These little ducklings are just full of personality and spunk. I’m just happy we have 5 healthy buddies.
