Externally pipped but not internal pip

I am incubating bobwhite quail. I’m on day 23. They externally pipped 24 hours ago and nothing had happened since then. What should I do? I don’t see any movement or hear chirping. How long can they go after they externally pip?

I've never hatched bobwhite quail, but it appears as if 23/24 days is normal. Have they made any progress?

I had several when I woke up. Some already moved to brooder they were dry and wanted out. Lol A few laying on side and won’t stand. Hopefully they will get better.

That's normal. They are pretty exhausted once they get out of the egg. It's a lot of work!
