extra bag of turkey starter

i have an extra bag of turkey starter. i believe it is 28% protein. i was wondering if it was ok to feed to chickens.

Yes,but I'd mix it 1/4 turkey starter to 3/4 regular feed.

The chicks can eat it just fine as-is. For layers I'd mix it as the previous poster suggested about three quarters laying feed to one quarter turkey starter.
