I have extra chicks from my Ideal Poultry order of Special Surprise Pullets, which are supposed to hatch 5/29. These chicks are all females, and an assortment of the extra breeds the hatchery did not sell that day. As per NY state law, you only have to buy 6 chicks from me, whereas most hatcheries require 15-25 min chick orders. There's a few other places where you can buy a smaller number, but they charge extra for shipping, making the price $5 - $10 per chick! Even so, I usually don't like charging $3 per chick, but I have to cover the cost of what I paid to the hatchery. The hatchery was running a great deal, but I'd only be breaking even at $2.50 per chick. We'll be coming to Grafton/Albany area on Saturday (June 1st) and Binghamton on Sunday afternoon (June 2nd). If you're interested, then we can also bring some of the small chicks for you, since we already have to travel almost 2 hrs.
