Is it OK to hatch double-yolk or extra-large suspected double-yolkers? I just had to rehome my rooster and wanted to do a hatch while the eggs are still fertile. The clutch collected prior to the rooster's departure was completely lost due to someone knocking over the incubator. I probably only a have, at best, a few more days of fertile eggs coming, and just lost a layer to a hawk, so I'm not swimming in options. Is it a terrible idea to put the extra-huge egg that is among the last my lost hen laid into the incubator?
