They are 14 weeks old. I started with 10, re-homed 2 and now I have 4 to process which leaves me 4 roosters and 39 pullets. I only wanted three roos but my husband wants to keep the dwarfed Welly with the deformed foot. I agreed but when it comes to breeding next year he gets his own cage.
I'm a little sad that they'll be going but I know it's in the best interest of my flock.
In reality if I had any guts I would be sending several of the pullets along with the roos, but my guts have their limits!
