our girls just started laying this week!! we have had 3 eggs so far, and they are just a bit bigger than the one in the picture. it is silly how excited I get when i look in the nest and there is an egg beside of the golf balll!!

that egg looks to be the size of eggs from silkies seems normal to me....i got my first eggs from my ri reds today beautiful brown extra large beauties i am so eggcited....ronie:cd
