Hello, my husband and I are very new to raising chickens. We are both retired. He has spent the last year building the hen house...... more like a condo. I just go with it. Due to the c-virus I got to get my chicks early
( might have been another year otherwise).
We have 2 barred rock, 2 cherry Eggers, 1 Rhode Island Red and 2 Easter Eggers ( one that crowed this morning
). These are all 11 weeks old. We also have 2 light Brahma that are 8 weeks old.
I came upon this website by googling sexing chickens. It was wonderful seeing all the questions and helpful answers. My husband and I can certainly benefit from the knowledge and experience so many of you have and share.
Outside of waiting on the eggs to come, we enjoy watching the chickens. Unfortunately we live in an association and we will have to find a new place for the one rooster we know of.
Our other hobbies are gardening. Thank you in advance for your help in our knowledge growth about
s.
