Extreme wry neck

Fed her an egg thru syringe this morning with some water until I could get the vitamins after work, when I got back she’s even worse and won’t open her eyes much and is not trying to even swallow like this morning, she is unable to control her body at all and goes to flopping violently when unwrapped from the towel, she’s only content when wrapped up fully with a towel roll to support her neck, I did however get the vitamins mixed with water into her and hopefully that will help her, I feel awful thinking she’s in pain but don’t have the heart to put her down . Really hoping these vitamins help her, how long should it take to show any improvement because so far I’ve only seen a rapid decline from eating on Saturday to this…

Sorry for your loss. What state are you in? You could try to get a necropsy through the state vet lab to find out what might have caused her problems. Wry neck is a neurological symptom, and is seen in head injuries, vitamin E/B1 deficiency, and in some viruses, including Mareks and others. Here is a list of state vets, and the body should be wrapped in plastic bags and kept cold, but not frozen for a necropsy.
