Extremely Bloody Shelless Egg

I found this egg on the ground. I have never seen one with so much blood. Recently I picked up a different brand of layer pellets because the feed store did not have the brand I use in stock. Would a sudden change in food cause this?
No one is looking or acting sick. The hens range from 1 year to 6 years. No roosters.

That's an underdeveloped yolk follicle, it happens sometimes. I wouldn't worry.

Food have very little influence on egg laying. It is much more genetic...unless they are on starvation rations.
