I incubated 14 pastel guinea hen eggs and only 1 hatched. I named her Puddin Pops.
Pudding Pops was born only about a month after a batch of chickens, that sh lives with. She also has 2 other varying aged hen flocks and the two living guinea fowl I have. She hasn't bonded to any of them and prefers only me. She spends her days waiting at the porch for me, and when i'm around she'll climb all over me and peck me until i bleed and do the "happy guinea" noise that I knew my last batch to do when they were fed.
She is only 3 months old, with age might she become more interested in our other birds?? I think she's adorable and make an effort to spend time with her. She would peck my eyes out if i let her but it's not mean? She's just dumb, which is something guinea hens are known for and how i've experienced them to be. Has anyone else had a friendly guinea hen and could you tell me about it? I want to know about friendly guinea hens!
