Extremely new

Hi everyone, I am brand new to chicken owning and know almost nothing. I purchased my first 6 chicks about three weeks ago. They are roughly 5-6 weeks old now. I am almost positive that I have at least two Roos in the bunch, and am not sure the sex of the remaining four, so I'll be posting pictures when they get a bit older to try and figure that out. I am very excited to be a chicken owner, and am looking forward to the adventures to come!

At 5-6 weeks the experienced folks may be able to help you with the roos vs pullets dilemma - go ahead and get pics and post under what breed/gender forum to see if anyone can ID them.

But, in case you drew unwanted roos, do start planning on rehoming - just in case.
