Eye condition

Hello chicken experts. Does anybody know what this is? It appeared recently by Glady's eye. I posted before about Gladys being listless in the mornings, and stopped laying. However she did randomly lay an egg the other day! Could the eye thing be related? Thanks.

Did she maybe get pecked in the eye? The red is blood, the bump could be swelling or maybe a small cyst, but I don't know.

If it is warm where you live and mosquitoes are out, it could possibly be fowl pox, since the comb also has a couple of questionable spot. If not warm, then it may be from pecking or a cyst as RosterDoo suggested. Thanks - there have been a lot of mosquitos out this summer, so could well be pox. She has been off colour for a while and egg production has been down, but according to the link scabs form during recovery, so hopefully this is a good sign! Just have to wait and see if the others get it.

Update - pretty sure it was fowl pox as similar spots appeared on the other hens a few days later. None of them had any other symptoms though.
