eye crusted shut

Here left eye is completely crusted over, or something like that! What can I do? I noticed yesterday it had some crusty stuff around edges, with a film over it. She's also our tiny 5 week old silkie.

Do you have VetRx? When my hens have lots of crusty patches, we put that on them. It clears it right up. Good Luck!

Will you have it necropsied to find the cause. If it is contagious your whole flock could be in jeopardy.

^ Agreed. Are there two different birds pictured, are they both ill? If so, even better reason for the necropsy. Sorry you lost her :'(

No one else is ill. Just her, I'm thinking her eye was due to our rooster, I caught him trying to breed with another chick, he caught her by the eye not comb.
