My chick has eye drainage and is cloudy, causing inability to eat and drink, others also starting to show signs of drainage, wiping eyes on their back/wings. Eye drops did not seem to help

Welcome To BYC

Can you post some photos?
How old are the chicks?
Where are you located in the world?
Where did the chicks come from?
Do you have the name of the eye drops you used?
Any other symptoms - coughing, sneezing, mucous from the nostrils, etc.?
Are there crusty lesions on the eyes like Fowl Pox?

It can be difficult to know the cause of eye infection without having some testing done. If vet care is an option for you, that would be good.

General care for eye infection would be to flush the eyes out with saline, press out/remove any drainage or pus from the eye and apply an eye medication - drops or ointment like Terramycin.

If you are dealing with something like Fowl Pox - then the course of treating the eyes may be different.

Do what you can to help the chicks drink and eat.

Look forward to more information and photos.
