Eye infection in rabbit?

Our rabbit is about 6 months old and she's had an eye infection for about four days. I'm going to take her to the vet tomorrow. Eye swollen shut, super swollen above the eye, and now has a weepy round hole in her head above the eye--perfectly round. Could this be a parasite? Doesn't look like an injury wound.

Yes, sorry! All set--took her yesterday. Was most likely "Fly Strike"--they took out the completely disgusting and nasty little worms out of her eye and have her on an antibiotic ointment. DISGUSTING! Happened to a feral kitten we had years ago, too...reason #987 why I couldn't be a vet...

Thank goodness! Flystrike can kill within 24 hours (i've mainly only seen it in a rabbits bum area though)!
