Can i use neo poly dex ophthalmic ointment in my chickens goopy Eye? It's just one eye and seals itself shut because of all the discharge

It would be good to use it probably when you first clean off the crust and any gunk present. Do you know why the eye is swollen and draining? Is there any nasal drainage, cough or sneeze, wheezing, or gasping? Have you had her long? Respiratory diseases can cause this from sinus infection. Mycoplasma (MG) and coryza are two that may be present, but a peck in the eye, or an infection could also be a problem.

Had her about 2.5 months. Had her bff isolated for respiratory infection which she filly recovered. This one started drifting from the others a few days into her friend being gone.
She is skin and bones, no swelling from the eye just drainage from one eye. No nasal congestion or discharge. I heard one wheeze. She isolated in my house. On tylan once daily, acv and vitamins in water, yogurt, and started her on dewormer due to her abnormal stool. For her eye I started drops...doing all I can to save her buy I'm afraid it may not be enough. She's eating and drinking ok.
