Eye infection

It may take longer if you are in Canada so you may want to see if there are local vet supply companies in your area.
Whenever I order online, it's there within 3-4 days at the most..most times on the 2nd day after ordering so to wait as long as you have would be unreasonable. If they say it should arrive within 2 business days and it's been well after that time...then I'd expect them to track and re-ship the item if they cannot locate. Most usually Fed-Ex it to you overnight if it's their mix-up.

Have you contacted the company to ask about when they shipped and when to expect it?

I've even ordered from PetShed.com and their stuff comes from Australia and it's here within a week, so it seems like way too long for what you've ordered and been through.

Maybe check with a local vet and see if you can get help there?

Good luck and hope everything turns out okay.

I tried to find it locally but no luck. I just wrote back ( for the second time) to the vet supply place that was recommended as the eye drops still haven't come. Does anyone know of another source for eye drops?

First off, you cannot be sure that it's just an infection.
Second, you'll only be guessing what medicine to buy.

My wife and I just spent two weeks with a two-month-old hen in a cage in our house. we thought she had an eye infection; it was VERY large and swollen. We spent a lot of money on terramycin and applied it every four hours.
FINALLY we took her to the vet who euthanized her because the eye had a cancer in it. The vet visit and final shot cost less than the terramycin that did no good whatsoever.

YOu are right. I am guessing. There is a yellow infection in her eye and it puffed up suddenly like she got pecked or something in it. I gave her eye drops , human eyedrops but there were not enough. I gave it to her for three days and she improved but after a few weeks it started to get worse again.
Sorry to hear about your hen. I have nursed a few hens and get extra attached to the ones that I spend that much time with.

Well that hen got her eye infection back.
I got the eye srops eventually and put them in and she recovered quickly. Then recently when the weather changed to rainy she started again with the runny eye and infection, The same eye. I tried washing it and keeping it clean but I think I am going to go back to eye drops. Id it possible she has had too much medication in that eye and now is more vulnerable to infection?

Well my hen is still alive
I bought some Wound Wash it is a saline solution and I used it to rinse out her eye and nasal cavity.
It looks like she is getting better. She is back to foraging and laying eggs.
I have never met a hen with a more willing spirit
