Our 18 month Pekin duck-new to our flocked was pecked in the eye abt 10 days ago.
We were using vetericyn spray- 2 times daily. She had a scab that formed. Today it was picked by an aggressive drake. He hopped up into her enclosure (we had her separated) while we were changing the water.
Can this be treated by ourselves or should we seek a vet?
thank you

I think a vet is the best option

Unfortunately, that is quite a severe injury, so it's possible the duck may not regain sight in that eye. You may be able to treat that at home with antibiotics, and a topical ophthalmic ointment, but I think if you have access to a vet, that might be a better route.
