Eye is extremely swollen. What's wrong with it? :o(

I was shocked to see my Polish's eye all swollen. I don't see any ticks near it, no sign of injury, no blood, no scratches or punctures....it's just all swollen. There appears to be nothing else wrong with her. She doesn't have discharge from the other eye, none from the nose, no odd respiratory sounds, she's eating and drinking fine, etc.

Advice? I'm so upset!

mabe a parasite? it is posible for a parisite to harm the eye.

Coryza can do that. Does she smell funny? Sniff around her head area and see if you smell anything unusual.

I would take her in to see if there's something in it. Some conjunctivitis can be treated with Terramycin ointment, but Coryza cannot.

Sorry, don't know about that medication.
Have you tried a search for conjunctivitis in chickens?
