My 8 week old was attacked last weekend with her whole flock by my neighbors dog...about 3 days ago i noticed her eye looked strange. Not sure if the dog attack is related or not.please help with what to do. Thank you.

If you have some antibiotic wound ointment such as Neosporin, (no pain killer in it) dab some around the perimeter of the eye. Do it three times a day for three days.

After tangling with a dog, she's awfully lucky not to have sustained worse.

Actually, you are right, she lost 8 roommates to the attack. It was awful.

Ok so I went in to put the drops in and noticed another one is sneezing and has a runny nose so maybe they do have a virus....I’ll have to do some reading. Thank you guys.

It may or may not be a respiratory disease/virus. First, look for anything in your environment that could cause the symptoms you're seeing, such as ammonia fumes from soiled bedding, pollen, pesticides, dirt or debris inhaled from dust bathing etc...

In the above photo, is your hens eye "sunken" looking?
Have any wild birds been around your chickens? Have you been to any chicken swap meets or shows?
Finally, what were your birds vaccinated for?

It’s actually swollen, Well on the outside, it looked slightly better tonight after the eye drops given earlier. I will take a closer look at the sneezer tomorrow. There are 12 of them in a 12 x12 and I’ve been sitting in there with them so the odor is definitely not bad or I would be cleaning it. But it is dry and dusty. They have been dust bathing for sure. And no pesticides are stored in there. I can’t thank u enough for brainstorming this with me. There is so much to read out there and everything is different.
