Well, threehorses, as promised, here's the update on Zelda. Patience paid off. She seems to be completely back to normal, and is even beginning to break from her broodiness. The cloudy appearance to her eye has resolved and she seems to see just fine with it.

Thank you SO much for your advice, I can't tell you how grateful I am to have heard your 'voice' of reassurance!
