7 WEEK old EE and a couple of other same age chicks have the same problem. At first I was thinking it could be from over dusting, they keep scraching their eyes til the bleed and to me they seem to be crying a lot tears, I have been flushing there eyes with sterile water, this has been going on for a week now, no improvement and now im just thinking about chickenpocks on them. What is going on with my babies. I would like some advice thank you for your time.

looks infectious....have seen this with infectious coryza, mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) and other disease....start researching those diseases, you will find lots of info about them

thanks i desided to go to my local feed store and ask for some advice, luckly the owner knew exactly, he gave us antiboitic to add in water, and some kind of flusing liquid for the eyes that seems to help for the iching and iodine for the warts.

If you see warts or nodules, most likely it's fowl pox, a virus. Iodine helps dry up and shrink the warts. The antibiotics are normally used for a secondary infection when dealing with fowl pox. You might also be dealing with MG. Fowl pox is carried by mosquitos, in 2-4 weeks more or less the fowl pox will go away on its own and your birds will be immune to it. However, if they have MG, they will remain carriers for life even after treatment wih antibiotics.
