Eye problem or not?

Hello Fellow Fowlers,
Can you tell me if I need to do anything about this 14wkers eye. The inner lid has always been a little exposed. Thanks in advance.

That is called the third eyelid. You don't often see it unless it's been irritated. I would wait and watch to see if it improves. If it doesn't you may need to see a vet for some eye drops.

When I used to raise dogs, it was common to have their haw (3rd.eyelid) removed if it was swollen/reddened. I don't think they do that to chickens - it would be too expensive.
