I have a chantecler who I am unsure of the age, she could be old as we have never seen her lay an egg. We got her about 4 months ago. Yesterday I wondered why she was standing there with her eyes closed eating, and noticed it was only one. Then she opened it slightly to show a shrivelled eyeball. I don't know when this happened, we do have a hen who bullied one of my pullets (another post lol) but I don't see any other signs of an attack. Do I need to watch for anything, and does anyone know what could have happened? Is this common? thanks
