Eye worm???

you can use baytril but that's hard to find
. maybe try a water soluble like oxytet. thats for respiratory also. that would be my next choice. full name is oxytetracycline hydrochloride. administer for 7 to 14 days for chickens. at the rate of one ounce per gallon. one pack contains 9 ounces. hope this helps you out and if you can't find this at the feed store I know you can order it online. that's where I got mine. if you can't find that you can also treat with water soluble sulfadimethoxine brand name DI- Methox. use ¹ teaspoon per gallon of clean water for 6 days. this treats respiratory CRD and Corzya. if you can't get this at feed store you can get it from twin city poultry supply online. and if all else fails you can treat with gallimycine. 1/2 gram per gallon for 7 days. I hope this is helpful to you. and hope your chicken gets better soon. all the above will treat respiratory illness so hopefully you can find one of them. as for the tylan did you look in the area for cattle and swine? usually its carried there. best wishes

I went online to look and TC Farm and country does have it so I called them back and another person found it. Went and bought it right away so well see how it goes.

On closer look at your picture, it looks like he might have scratched his eye and an infection has set in there. In addition to treating him with Tylan or whatever, I'd get some Terramycin Eye Ointment and treat his eye, too.

OK Thanks so much for everyone's help. Hopefully he gets better I really love his colors and don't want to lose him.

Did this issue ever come back and did you resolve it? My pullet has had this issue three times now. I pull the white thing out with tweezers when it gets big enough and use the Terramycin ointment. No other symptoms.
